Textural Images

This series is a layer of images, textures and colors combined within Photoshop.

I've always loved the interplay of texture, light and color in the natural world. The way light plays off graffiti on a brick wall for instance. I have an extensive stockpile of textures that were in need of being used to create art. During the Covid staycation, I started seriously playing with these textures, pairing them with other imagery.
