Polaroid Techniques

Back in the film days…that sees so long ago, I loved experimenting with Polaroid materials.  While most photographers where doing Polaroid transfers, I loved the emulsion transfer technique that you see within this portfolio.

Also, you see another technique I developed using Polaroid Type 55 negatives. I placed the negatives on a copy stand and copied them onto 4x5 transparency using colored filters over the lens. I then processing the transparency film as a negative thus creating a positive image with the opposite color of the gel used.  Images needed to be a bit higher contrast and simple, but it was a technique that I had seen no others do.
