Yosemite and Big Sur

Among landscape photographers, the areas of Big Sur and Yosemite are the “Holy Ground” photographed by masters such as Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, Brett Weston and others.

There is just something that is different with the west coast light, at least compared to Ohio. The crisp, vivid light and beautiful scenery meant that the camera had little time to rest.  It’s no wonder so many photographers feel the need to make a pilgrimage to this area.
