Boston’s Downtown Crossing hosts it’s first full service grocery. Urban dwellers and commuters can enjoy subway access from the lower level or a street entrance on Summer Street. BHDP designed this multi level site to serve grab and go commuters and weekly grocery shoppers. The exposed beams complemented by traditional tile and brick walls give the store a truly urban feel. Playful line art graphics and colorful oversized utensils upstairs keep it upbeat and modern. Downstairs the grocery area features several gourmet food stations, a full liquor department, plus a wine tasting bar. Small cafes on both the street and subway platform levels give shoppers a place to unwind while enjoying some food or drink.
